From Deposit to First Wave

Book & Pay Deposit
Pay the $150 deposit online. You'll receive a confirmation email with a scheduling link to lock in your session time.

Design Session (1 Hour)
A focused conversation covering your surfing goals, wave conditions, desired feel, current equipment, and any physical considerations. This is where your board is born.

Spec Sheet
Within a few days, Freddy sends a detailed spec: exact dimensions, rocker profile, bottom contour, rail shape, fin setup, glass weight, and any custom requests. You review and approve every detail before anything is shaped.

Shaping
Freddy shapes your board by hand in the shaping bay. Every curve, every rail, every contour is cut to your spec. A full-sized blank in 6 hours of focused shaping work.

Glassing & Finishing
Laminated, hot-coated, and finished. Standard builds use sanded finish on polyurethane foam. Add-ons applied at this stage: epoxy construction, resin tint, gloss-polish, channel bottoms.

Fin Setup & Hardware
Fins and fin system installed. Leash plug set. Any 5-fin or specialty hardware completed before the final check.

Quality Review
Freddy does a final inspection before your board leaves the shaping bay. Any dings, pressure marks, or imperfections are fixed. Nothing ships until it's right.

Delivery
Photos sent so you can see the finished board before pickup. Arrange collection from the shaping bay or local delivery. You're in the water within days.

Come Prepared
You don't need to know anything about board design. But if you want to get the most out of the session, spend a few minutes thinking about these three things:
- 1. What are the main waves you typically surf? Beach break, point break, reef — hollow and fast, or soft and slow?
- 2. What board are you riding now? What do you like about it? What do you wish it did better?
- 3. What is the one thing you want to improve most in your surfing?
That's it. Freddy handles the rest.

Common Questions
Yes. The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before your session. Once the Design Session has been completed and you proceed with a build, the $150 is credited toward your board's total price.
